Sail & Bike: Baltic Sea
Sail & Bike: Baltic Sea - Description
Rügen and Usedom: Boddenlandschaft and Spa Culture
The German Baltic Sea Islands of Ruegen and Usedom are known for their beautiful beaches and the historic seaside resorts from the beginning of the 20th century. At that time appeared magnificent villas along the promenades. Rügen is the largest island and has the most hours of sunshine along with Usedom in Germany.
On the tours you will discover the varied landscape of the Islands, the romantic cycle paths, fishing places and the beautiful sandy beaches. The journey begins and ends in Stralsund. The centre of this picturesque city is accessible from the berth of your „floating hotel“ on foot. So a stroll through the historic streets worth it on the first evening.
The island rügen offers a huge variety of different beach and shore areas, that inspired artist and will certainly fascinate nature friends.
On the island Usedom you visit the the seaside resorts Karlshagen, Zinnowitz, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck. Enjoy the tranquility in untouched nature or visit the numerous museums and exhibitions.
Municipalities are awarded with the "blue flag for beaches on coastal and inland waters" for the good water quality and sustainable development.
Discover two of the most popular seaside destinations in the Baltic Sea by bicycle and under the white sails of the Amazone. Enjoy the hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere on board in a small group of about 20 guests.
