Family sailing trips

Sail together with other families with children

Family sailing trips

During this sailing holiday, you will sail together with other families with children, age four to twelve, from one port to the next. The trip begins in Enkhuizen, where you will become acquainted with the ship, the crew and the other guests. After receiving brief sailing instructions you cast off, and the ship will sail to Medemblik, for example. This is also where you will spend your first night on board.

On the next day the boat sails on the Frisian Sea, and the crew teaches both parents and children 'the ropes' of sailing. At the end of the day the ship moors at the island of Texel. On this island in the Frisian Sea it is delightful to wander for long distances along the beach or to go on a cycling trip, but you can also visit the Ecomare seal centre.

From Texel  you set course for Makkum. From Makkum the ship sails to Stavoren.

On your return trip to Enkhuizen, everyone who wants to can still actively help with the sailing, while the rest enjoy the sun on deck. And at the end of this active holiday, everyone will have fond memories of a lovely sailing trip.
